The Great Britain national baseball team is holding training sessions in Germany ahead of its first game in the 2010 European Championship, against Croatia in Stuttgart this Friday (July 23). Great Britain is defending the silver medal it won in Barcelona in 2007 which was its highest placing in the tournament since 1967.

Schedule confirmed for 2010 European Championship and tickets on sale
It was announced today on mister-baseball.com that the Confederation of European Baseball has approved the proposed schedule for the 2010 European Baseball Championship which will be held in Stuttgart, Heidenheim and Neuenburg, Germany, from July 23 to August 1.
