The Great Britain Senior Team faced off with the Belgian National Team on Wednesday, and beat them 9-3 in a practice exhibition game. The scrimmage was scheduled long in advance to provide GB and Belgium with an opportunity to face high-level pitching and hitting ahead of the European Championships, which kick off on Friday 23 July.

Great Britain baseball team in final preparations for European Championship
The Great Britain national baseball team is holding training sessions in Germany ahead of its first game in the 2010 European Championship, against Croatia in Stuttgart this Friday (July 23). Great Britain is defending the silver medal it won in Barcelona in 2007 which was its highest placing in the tournament since 1967.
GB Cadets open European Baseball Championship Qualifier with win
The Great Britain Cadets baseball team (Under-15) began its campaign in the European Championship Qualifier in Nykoping, Sweden, with a 10-5 win over Slovakia on July 20.
24-man roster announced for European Championships
Team GB has released the final (24-man) roster for the upcoming European Championships in Stuttgart, Germany. The competition runs from 23 July to 1 August, and Britain will play the first game of the event at 10:30am on the 23rd versus the Croatian National Team.

The Great Britain National Baseball Teams have announced their rosters for the upcoming summer competitions on the continent. With only weeks to go before the teams depart to face their European rivals, players are working hard to get their bodies and minds in shape and geared up for success.
